Touki Delphine collaborates with SPUN (Society for the Protection of Underground Networks) for Transmission. SPUN is an international scientific research organization with a mission to accurately map mycorrhizal fungal networks and advocate for their protection.

Members of SPUN include Merlin Sheldrake (author of the bestselling book “Entangled Life”), Jane Goodall (biologist and UN Messenger of Peace), and Michael Pollan (writer and professor at the University of Berkeley). They consider the collaboration with artists and performers crucial in conveying information and translating research findings into accessible language for the general public.Toby Kiers, the founder of SPUN, is a global phenomenon. She teaches at internationally renowned universities and travels the world giving lectures. In the fall of 2023, TOUKI invites her to give a lecture in Amsterdam.

Earlier this spring, Dr. Justin Stewart, a data analyst and mathematician, delivered a lecture on the current state of the fungal network and how we can learn to utilize the findings of this research for climate preservation. Justin will be giving a lecture at the opening of Transmission on June 25, 2023, at the Hi-Lo Festival in Marrum.
